Library Research - Choosing a Research Topic
One of your biggest jobs will be choosing a topic for your senior project. Paige Mann, our science librarian, is planning to run some sessions in the library about how to choose a topic and find good references. The link below gives you access to the research guide she has already prepared.

You should also be talking to your professors about what topics they are excited to advise. Many of them have sample papers, books, or ideas to get you started. -

Taking the GRE General Test - Almost all schools require this. It is offered
Taking the GRE Math Subject Test - Most math graduate schools will want you to take this exam. It is only offered a few times each year and you should plan to take it as early as possible (September of your senior year)

Writing a Resume
-
You should start writing your resume now. Here are some things to keep in mind:
What you include in your resume depends on the job. Engineering jobs will want to know all about your programming and research experience while teaching jobs will want to hear about your tutoring and teaching experience.
You usually keep a resume length to one page, although sometimes they are longer.
Make sure to list all of your scholarships, awards, achievements, and leadership roles.
